Description

The students will summarize and disseminate their understanding of course concepts to develop and implement a PFCC within a clinical setting of their choice.

Instructions

 Total time for presentation will be 20-25 minutes

1. class engagement 5 minutes questions and answers period
2. you will pick one topic area and choose one scenario from the topic area to present (see scenario topic and scenario situation list)
3. Presentation will consist of

2. Part 1 -Introduction of PFCC clinical setting  including chronic disease population  and the importance of supporting this group  (20%)
3. Part 2 – Outline a plan of care approach (20%)
4. Part 3 – Describe the role of the patient and their support system  (20%)
5. part 4 – Poster  (can be electronic) and class engagement (20%) (NOTE: if you do not attend other group presentations (weeks 12-13-14)  you will not receive this 20%)

3.  Presentation maximum of 12 slides (not including a title slide  and/ or  student names or reference slide)
4.  Introduction slide with the title of conflict scenario and  student name and student
5.  Each content slide should be short and to the point. No long paragraphs to read.
6. A slide with all resources used (minimum of 4 course references) (not counted in slide count)
7. Know material:

a.       Understand course material and application to topic

b.       Be sure to provide contradicting perspectives/opinions

c.       Be logical and orderly

d.       Be creative
