Born in China of Japanese parents he could even conduct music from East and West cultures.
With some of us including me not even able to conduct lullabies we were raised with
I mean Seiji Ozawa was a talented conductor and Boston Symphony Orchestra still keeps her in memory
The moment people would hear Ozawa is coming on stages the whole city would stand happily until he appears
No billboard could fit his image, so sad
Most public of stages wanted to see how he can bring music close to them
A music that touches soul and mind
Seiji Ozawa was always full of kind and light but unluckily I was not his neighbor
But luckily being a Chinese like me I could mingle with her a little bit
Today everywhere is mourning Seiji Ozawa and his death is tragic
Any other conductor in the history of orchestra feels left out and hopeless
Vienna State Opera fraternity can tell us this
He left a landmark in Vienna where musicians leaves to remember
The pain is unbearable to Japan music students
As a music student we need to emulate Ozawa
Even after suffering rugby accident and broke two fingers
It did not ended his passion in music
The accident cost Ozawa to stop playing piano playing,
But he take up conducting instead
Conductors like conductor Leonard Bernstein can remember him while in Tanglewood Music Center, New York s
He come in the U.S and conquered, that was so amazing
He was the first Asian conductor to reach professional levels and competing with the West
He brought tremendous physicality and star quality to the podium
He inspire many people to be better than
Who knew The New York Times would praise Ozawa; “The music came brilliantly alive under his direction.”
Seiji Ozawa has shown us the music can link the hearts of people
He made us believe that music has no boundaries
Music reminds us that we are in the same human race
He deserved Kennedy Center Honor that he won some years ago

A beloved and caring sister, mother, colleague and a true, kind and caring friend to all of us
Sang left us on Feb 25th 2024 through a tragic accidents leaving behind one child
She has also left behind a legacy of laughter, love and indelible memories that will forever linger in our hearts
Sang was more than how people used to know her.
She was a good companion, a comforter, the strength of weakness, warmth in our laughter and the light in our darkness
Sang could listen both with her ears and heart, turning ordinary moments into memorable good moments
Anybody near Sang could feel he or she has being seen or heard
I do remember when Sang was chosen as a team leader in our project she dedicated most of her time and energy in achieving the targeted goals and mission
She was a visionary who led by examples and accommodated everyone needs and challenges
Our science club has missed a compassionate member who was always ready to volunteer and giving back to society
Sang was honest and full of integrity that was admirable by many including me
Today, I join you as we reflect on her life and profound impact on us
Her legacy has left us a spirit of cherishing each moment of life and appreciating the good things we meet in life
She will always be cherished in our memories as we hold dearly her smiles in our hearts
We should also not forget to celebrate her life that has inspire many
As we mourn our beloved sister, let us hope her soul will rest in peace
And let the beauty of sunset shine and forever be with us in this tough times
