People view and perceive things differently due to personal differences and also differences in their religious beliefs. They tend to judge one another based on their mannerism of doing things, the cultural patterns they belong to, including the mode of dressings, among other things. For instance, in the picture above, the two women have a totally different opinion on one another in terms of their mode of dressing, they all have the same notion of dressing to impress men. One of the women dresses in a secular manner showcasing all her body parts except her eyes while the other is fully dressed covering all her body parts except her eyes a representation of a certain religious values and beliefs. It is closely linked to the theological voluntarism, which claims that divine commands instruct us on what we must do. (Cantrell, 2013). On the other hand, the first woman in the picture perceives morality as that is best for herself, how she should look and therefore is only interested in pursuing her interests (Rachels, 2012).
The two women in the picture raise a debate on whether spiritual reality and moral truths truly exist. To me, the second woman in a good representation of spiritual reality because she dressed as expected by her religion and the society. She dressed formally and respectably, and thus maintaining her reputation. Alternatively, the first woman dressed in a secular manner is a representation of an agent of moral truth, as her dressing corresponds with the reality of the world (Jalil et.al.,2020). The two women conquered that the male-dominated culture is what dictates what women should wear and seem to blame each other for being the victims of such a culture. In my opinion, spiritual reality and moral truths do exist, and they play a big role in human beings behaviors and the cultural patterns they believe in. Both spiritual reality and moral truths have become a part of our live which we are firmly attached to them and therefore, have become inseparable.
