Nurses engage in policy analysis through the creation of policy briefs, which promote awareness of the problem, and provide context of the problem, resolution options and their pros and cons, and a recommended solution. Nurses use policy briefs to communicate issues and solutions to government policy analysts.

Search the Internet for the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses Health Policy Tool Kit. Explore the toolkit to prepare for this assignment.

Select one of the issues you researched in the From Research to Health Policy Impact assignment preparation in Week 1. You will use this issue throughout the course as you complete your policy brief.

Research the issue further and write 1,050-word paper in which you identify:

• Underlying issue
• Stakeholders
• Resolution
• Specific alternative resolutions
• Positive consequences of each resolution
• Negative consequences of each resolution

Cite at least four scholarly articles, and include an APA-formatted reference page.
