Planning to start and how to remain motivated

There are quite a number of ways one can get started to begin a course and follow the plan to completion. One should understand the plan for the three weeks and prepare required resources necessary for the class. For example, this course will require computer access, notebooks and the pens. Other than preparation for the course, remaining motivated to the end is essential to earn both full marks and balance family and school time. The aspect of motivation to focus on include reviewing of goals regularly, momentum maintenance, and focusing on high impact tasks. The reassessment of the calendar with activities can help avoid missing any of the activities. The other aspect that comes with checking the calendar is preparing energy or momentum. Also, putting emphasis on the high impact task can help get marks on the specification that matter.

b.

Identify items you might procrastinate and strategies to fight procrastination

Items that I may procrastinate include the non-academic activities such as family dinner or the sport day. I am reluctant to fulfill them because of the perception they hardly matter. Therefore, one may tend to focus on the academic sessions as they influence my future life. The best to ensure I avoid underestimating the effects of negating family and understand the importance of balancing for future success. There is need to put actions and repercussions or reinforcement of doing an activity. For example, by attending the sport activity I can improve my health and therefore, essential. Also, I should plan to take activities after 3 weeks- such as a solo trip to appreciate myself for attaining the 100% participation of all activities.

Other strategies to keep you on track and remind of upcoming tasks

The other strategies include using the project management tools such as Asana or Trello. I should integrate the 3-week program on the Trello and get notifications. The Trello application works with other applications such as Google, which can easily send push notification and alert me a day before for a schedule that starts on the next day. Also, on weekends since one tends to take off- I should set one Sundays before starting the week.

Moreover, the other strategy is collaborating with groups of students in the same class. The activities can be updated through a WhatsApp group notification. Also, on aspects of sporting then, the activities will be interactive hence everyone is eager to start the next activity. Setting goal for every activity and planning on alerting and follow-ups can foster completion.

d.

What do you anticipate that could happened to impact schedule? How will you manage this?

I have siblings that I take care of and they keep asking for help from school. Incase I am called by their school to offer guardian support then I spend most of time here. The growth and support of these children are critical for their studies. My parents are busy, so I am expected to step in- most cases. The other is when I fall sick. So, there is need to plan in advance with school to avoid missing classes or my activities. Also, I must observe the healthy practices to avoid getting sick.
